Frequently asked questions
What is Lugh Xtudio?
A video studio where AI agents edit with you. You describe the video, agents cut, animate, caption, draw maps and place 3D, and everything lands on a real timeline you can still edit by hand.
How much does Lugh Xtudio cost?
The editor is free. A founder licence costs $59 one-time (limited to 100 licences, 40% off the $99 final price); after those are gone the lifetime licence is $99. There is no renewal.
Which AI agents can I use?
The Agent tab starts Claude Code, Codex or Antigravity with your own account. Any other app that speaks MCP — Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI and more — can connect too. Xtudio has no chatbot of its own.
What is the difference between the free editor and the licence?
The whole editor is free with no time limit. Anything the agent edited exports with a watermark; anything you edited by hand exports clean. The licence removes the watermark and adds 4K export.
Do my videos leave my computer?
No. Import, transcription, effects, preview and export all happen on your machine, and projects and media are never received by the vendor. What an agent reads goes to the company providing that agent.
Which platforms does it run on?
macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux. The download is free on all of them; it does not run on a phone.
